What is Over The Air (OTA)?
Over The Air (OTA) (or Over-The-Air) is a standard for the transmission and reception of application-related information in a wireless communications system. The standard is supported by Nokia, SmartTrust, and others.
OTA is commonly used in conjunction with the Short Messaging Service (SMS), which allows the transfer of small text files even while using a mobile phone for more conventional purposes. In addition to short messages and small graphics, such files can contain instructions for subscription activation, banking transactions, ringtones, and Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) settings. OTA messages can be encrypted to ensure user privacy and data security.
The Over the air messages have 3 messages as follows :
- Mfone WAP
- Mfone INTERNET
- Mfone MMS
For (1) and (2) depends on WAP protocol version on handset.
If new handset model that support graphics display, choose Mfone INTERNET.
But if old handset model that display onlye text, choose Mfone WAP.
For (3), use the same for both models.

How to request OTA by manual, we can use SMS send to 1439

How to connect Mfone WAP
- Select Message menu
- Write SMS with "WAP Nokia N95"
- Send to 1439, you will get a first message to tell that "You will soon receive configuration for your phone.Please enter 1111 to accept it..."
- You will get a second message, Please type pin code "1111" > Click OK > Option > Save

How to connect Mfone INTERNET
- Select Message menu
- Write SMS with "INTERNET Nokia N95"
- Send to 1439, you will get a first message to tell that "You will soon receive configuration for your phone.Please enter 1111 to accept it..."
- You will get a second message, Please type pin code "1111" > Click OK > Option > Save
